About Katie

Katie is an experienced, full-time voiceover artist, working from her professional studio just outside London. She offers a seamless, responsive, and reliable service across a wide range of voiceover projects.

Her voice is warm, genuine, and engaging, with a soft Scottish accent that carries a sense of authenticity and ease. She delivers with clarity and confidence, balanced by an approachable, human touch. While her roots are in Glasgow, her accent is highly adaptable, allowing her to tailor her sound to suit each client and brief.

Katie’s vocal range spans from a youthful 20s tone through to a more mature delivery in her 50s, giving her flexibility across commercial, corporate, and broadcast work.

Alongside her voiceover career, Katie is a multi award-winning broadcast journalist, with over 20 years’ experience working with Sky, ITN, and Channel 5—bringing authority, credibility, and professionalism to every read.

Studio

Katie records from her professional, broadcast quality recording studio based just outside of London. Katie’s bespoke KUBE Gold vocal booth boasts an average sound reduction of 58db. This is a heavy-duty multiple layer sound isolation vocal booth enclosure. There is a secondary inner isolation layer on the ceiling, floor, and all walls, creating an isolated space within the existing booth, helping to reduce noise levels even further and making the range suitable for all scenarios. She also uses Pro-Acoustic base traps measuring 915mm x 445mm per bass trap, with optimal acoustic performance for a crystal-clear acoustic with pure sound response base traps for added sound isolation.

Katie records using a RØDE NT1 Signature Series Large-diaphragm Condenser Microphone with shock mount and pop filter; a RØDE AI-1 Studio-grade Single-channel USB Audio Interface; and RØDE NTH-100 Professional Over-ear Headphones.

Having spent more than two decades in broadcasting, Katie understands the importance of excellent, high quality audio for her clients, and will provide you with professional broadcast quality audio files in any desired format.

Katie is able to record remotely or is very happy to offer live directed sessions. Alternatively, she is on hand to travel to a studio and can be in central London in under an hour.
